Dapos / Legal
Risk Disclosure
Buying, selling and holding crypto assets carries significant risk. Please read this disclosure before using Dapos, and only use money you can afford to lose.
Price volatility
Crypto asset prices can rise or fall sharply in a short time, and can fall to zero. Past performance does not indicate future results.
No deposit or investor protection
Crypto assets are not legal tender and are not backed by any government. They are not FDIC- or SIPC-insured.
Irreversible transactions
Blockchain transactions generally cannot be cancelled or reversed. Sending crypto to a wrong address can mean losing it permanently.
Liquidity
Markets for some assets can be thin. You may not be able to buy or sell when you want, or at the price you expect.
Technology and security
Crypto assets rely on software and networks that can fail, be attacked or change. Phishing and scams are common — Dapos will never ask for your password or one-time codes by email or phone.
Legal and regulatory change
Laws and regulations for crypto assets are evolving and may change how, or whether, certain assets can be offered or used.
Taxes
Buying, selling or exchanging crypto assets may have tax consequences. You are responsible for your own taxes; consider speaking to a tax professional.
